Hello - I love reading your blog - I like your writing as much as the makeup. At the moment, I am stuck with a low budget in slushy, mushy weather. Any suggestions or ideas for an inexpensive treat to get me through these grey days? I know you don't do cheap cosmetics, but I am thinking along the lines of the propolis bee balm-reasonable and worth it.
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog while doing some research. I was reading an old Russian novel set during the first years of the Soviet Union, 'The Master and Margarita'. There were references to perfumes of the time, specifically Narcisse Noir. Your blog was very informative.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
ReplyDeleteRecently I was introduced to Ellis Faas makeup line by Alicia at Beautylish and now I am addicted to this line. I came across your Blog while doing Google search on Ellis Faas. Thank you for posting reviews of this line. I base on your swatches to do purchase a few more cream eyeshadow and lipstick.
Cheers!

Hi, A few years ago you gave me some wonderful recs for high-end red lipsticks. I am back to ask for suggestions for light-weight foundations/TMs. I am currently using a Clinique tinted City Block thing which is ok, but not great. I've tried Laura Mercier and NARS, neither of which I liked that much (with both ended up slightly orange after a few hours). I am in my mid-50s, have combo skin, and the last time I was MAC'd I came up NW20. So, if you've already done this sort of post, please point me to it, and if not, I think a fair number of readers might enjoy it. Thanks, Ronny
ReplyDeleterouge coco 45 has been discontinued! this is one of my favorite lipsticks, what to do now? where can I buy it?
