I wish more people would take a moment to email their senators and congressmen if they don't like the way the government is handling things. I'm not going to talk politics, as I don't think a beauty blog is the appropriate platform, but I do think it's OK on this Presidents Day to remind people just how easy--and meaningful--it is to make their voice heard. We, the people, are more influential than we give ourselves credit for being.
ReplyDeleteI think any place is an appropriate platform to talk about politics - we all have a lot at stake, we all owe it to ourselves to tell our stories and make our voices heard. (And I agree that Cory Booker is pretty great.)

ReplyDeleteI love that you emailed Cory Booker! I'm not even a constituent of his, but a few weeks ago I sent him a thank-you email for all he's been doing. His efforts benefit everyone.
