I'm completely taken with this Altuzzara ensemble (shirt: $990, skirt: $1,150 at Neiman Marcus). Sienna Miller wore it last week, with a slightly different styling than we see here (identical to the Altuzarra runway), and I find it (and her) absolutely stunning. Of course, we can cheat a little with a similar shirt from somewhere like Brooks Brothers and such, as long as the fit is good (not the easiest thing for the busty), but the skirt! The stripes and bias cut are perfect, and obviously would look amazing with any simple black or red top. I'm in love.

I think you know I LOVE this. This outfit is the perfect illustration of what my apartment looks like.
ReplyDeleteKelly, I thought of you the second I saw it.
DeleteI love this outfit. But at 5 foot 1 inch, with a very hourglass figure, I don't think any of it would work on me.
ReplyDeleteIncredibly beautiful! Original, but still so classic that fifty years from now if someone sees a photo of it, they'll still see it as wearable. I'm always impressed by clothes I see in vintage Vogues or Bazaars from the 50s or earlier that I'd still want to wear today. There are a lot I wouldn't, of course, but still plenty that I would. This has the same elegant, timeless mood as the July '51 issue of Vogue with the striped rebozo.
