Back in 2008 I wrote a quick review about the launch of the EOS shaving creams and my efforts to grow a patch of leg hair so I could test them properly. For several years that was one of the most popular posts on this blog, which always amused me. It's been a long time since then, but I'm always coming back to these EOS bottles because of the clean plastic bottle with the easy grip design. The rich and creamy formula is nice, but as I mentioned back then, I still don't shave my legs and it's not that my armpits are all that picky.
Last year I discovered that EOS offers the Shave Cream in Lavender Jasmine. I had to try it, just because. Now, I hope we're clear that this is a $3.49 product from the drugstore, so no one expects all natural essences or something aromatherapeutic. Because you won't get any. Instead, this is a very clean scent of airy (almost watery) jasmine and something that may or may not be a synthetic herbal thing. I can't say that it rocked my world, but it is very shower-appropriate. Over the years I've learned to really appreciate the rich and creamy formula of this product. It protects my poor pits even when I'm in a hurry or completely distracted.
Bottom line: the fragrance is meh, but the formula more than makes up for it.
