Those of us who thought that there's too much shimmer in some of the new makeup collections for fall 2013 will be happy that NARS is focusing on matte textures this season: matte eye shadows and matte lipsticks. The nail colors have a rainy day appeal (perfect for today's massive storm, actually); but there's also some warmth there through the limited edition single eye shadow and the eyeliner pencils. Here's the full list of the new NARS colors (available July 15th on NARS website). Also, there will be two eye shadow palettes that I'm finding very hard to resist. Oh the Fairy Kiss palette seems absolutely gorgeous. These single e/s especially the Maple Sugar (I'll probably get that one) are quite stunning.

DeleteI think I need the navy, brown, and grey shadows (nice to see singles in this collection), as well as the grey nail polish. Not sure about the lip products yet. It seems this collection needs a blush--Francois?

Yes, I was surprised to see that there's no blush. I think Douceur will go well with a heavy blue smoky eye.
