The a/c stopped working last night. I think it was just before I had to rush Marigold to the emergency clinic as she was displaying signs of an upper-respiratory infection. At that point I was far more concerned about my sick kitty than about melting. I still am, though now it's just a matter of the antibiotics (she's on two types) doing their thing. With my laptop being on the fritz I was already cranky, but heat and humidity make me unfit for society. The shower is my refuge, so this is a good opportunity to talk about one of my most enjoyed shower gel: Molton Brown Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod Bath & Shower.
Basically, this is a pink pepper body wash, with Molton Brown's signature twist; in this case ginger and patchouli. Molton Brown Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod has a zing to it, yet the aroma that spreads in the shower is wonderfully calming.
The thing that matters to me most is a gentle formula that wouldn't make my skin react (too many shower products make me itch). I've never had any issues with Molton Brown products, and Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod is no difference. My skin is happy, I am happy. Until I turn off the water and remember the situation, that is.
If anyone's looking for me, I'm in the shower with my Molton Brown.
Molton Brown Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod Bath & Shower ($30, 10oz) is available at select department stores and from beauty.com.
Oh, I know that feeling when a kittie is ill, and nothing else matters .... hope Marigold is soon better. Antibiotics gave one of mine a bad stomach and the vet actually recommended a little natural yoghurt (with lots of the good bacteria), which she was happy to lick off my fingers and which seemed to help.
ReplyDeleteMolton Brown makes some lovely products - my favourites were those in the Rose Granita line, which I can't seem to find any more. The room fragrance was just lovely.
