Mahardjah is one of Parfums de Nicolai most beautiful masculine/shared fragrances. It's all about lavender and spice, sweetness and earthiness. It's dry oil companion-- Huile Sèche Mahardjah is less known, and that's a shame, as the bath and body line from Parfums deNicolai is rather fabulous. The dry oil comes in three scents: Ylang-Ylang, Peau de Peche (peach skin), and Maharadjah. I only have the latter, but I definitely have my eye on the other ones because I love the texture so much.
Parfums de Nicolai Huile Sèche comes in a spray bottle that helps make application a clean and quick process. Three spritzes take care of my entire body, as the oil spreads easily. Maharadjah Huile Sèche is a dry oil and absorbs upon contact. Truly. I can get dressed right away, which has been a blessing on some cold mornings. It's not the richest/most moisturizing oil product I have (Aftelier oils are the best in this regard), but it's quite effective, and those of you who don't have alligator genes will probably find it fully satisfying.
The scent of Maharadjah dry oil is not as spicy or complex as the Parfums de Nicolai fragrance. It's mostly a sweet lavender- pretty, fresh, and invigorating. It's great for layering fragrance (also with other lavender-based perfumes) but will not linger on its own beyond giving the skin a light clean barely-there scent.
Bottom Line: a beautiful luxury.

I love dry oils so I definitely need to try these (all of them - they all sound good).
