Front Row At Stella McCartney Paris Fashion Week F/W 2013

It's always Fashion Week somewhere in the world, and the usual suspects report for front row duty. Right now it's the Fal/Winter 2013 Prêt-à-Porter event in Paris, and everyone from Tilda Swinton to Kim & Kanye is there. Stella McCartney shows are always extra-full of show-biz celebs (her own father was there, as well as Bono), as well as fashion luminaries.

Nicole Richie and Jessica Alba were there, which seem to have excited the paparazzi-- look at the mob scene above. Jessica is somewhere there in the middle. They both looked adorable, as did Elettra Wiedemann (Isabella Rossellini's daughter). I really think these young women show the best of Stella McCartney's style.

Less so was Elena Perminova. I had to google her, because wives of Russian billionaires  (Alexander Lebedev, in this case) are not necessarily my expertise, but she is a model and somewhat of a current It Girl but with an interesting story. Today, though, I'm not impressed.

Then we have the three prophets of fashion: Anna Dello Russo, Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld. Say what you will about Wintour, her style usually makes a lot more sense and she never looks like she's trying too hard.

  2. I love Carine's coat, but why oh why does she keep wearing these horrendous sunglasses? Never liked Anna Dello Russo and Wintour looks plain scary.

Wives of Russian billionaires cannot excite me in any way, and is she wearing leather pants to the famously vegan Stella's show?

Elettra Wiedemann is perfect - how about three generations of epitome of style?

  3. Wow! - Ms. Perminova doesn't look herself at all! Quite far from 26-years old fashion icon described in that article ((

I wonder what happened to her...
