Pink Paradise (#10) is my second or third lipstick from Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin range. I love Givenchy's balanced formula that provides ample hydration as well as longevity and a beautiful finish. The beautiful Pink Paradise is a blue based basic, probably the coolest tone I can pull off without looking like Nikki Minaj's kooky Jewish sister. It doesn't scream for attention, but complements a low key and very polished look: In my case this shade requires a full face of neutral makeup, a pale face with a good finishing powder, a thin liquid black eyeliner and mostly matte eye shadows in beige and taupe.
Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick in Pink Paradise offers medium coverage (I'm pretty sure darker shades are a little more opaque). It has a light scent that evaporates almost immediately and a somewhat waxy lipsticky taste.
My one old complaint about Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipsticks is the packaging- the ribbon adds bulk and prevents the lipsticks from fitting in some of my storage compartments. On the other hand, it makes it easy to identify and grab them when I carry them in my purse, so it does have a use. Still, I'd like a sleeker case.
Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick in Pink Paradise #10 and twenty four other shades ($30) is exclusive to Sephora.
That is one gorgeous pink! LOL@ Nikki's kooky Jewish sister.
ReplyDeleteI keep reading great reviews about Givenchy and I'm starting to get curious! This looks like a really pretty pink shade.
ReplyDeleteI don't own any Givenchy cosmetics, but this is such a pretty color! I may have to swing by the Givenchy counter some time soon...
ReplyDeleteI was looking at "Pink Paradise" this past weekend at Sephora. I ended up getting "Rose Caprice", which is a beautiful pale pink. I have not worn it yet, but I think I will love it! Their new Le Rouge formula is great however, I just could not find a likable/wearable color for me. I love your blog, btw!!
