I was happy to see that Dior had something more than pink to offer us this season. The new range of single eye shadows Diorshow Mono come in eight neutral colors and several textures: matte, satin and shimmer. They are very different than the iridescent 1 Couleur line and seem like they were designed to be everyday staples. Diorshow Mono is a wet-dry formula, so that should appeal to those of us who like to add extra intensity.
I passed on two shades, Panama 566 (tobacco brown) and Ribbon 623 (pink champagne), but there was more than enough in Diorshow to lure me in. I'll post detailed reviews and swatches soon, but since these Dior shadows just arrived I wanted to give you an overview of the colors:
Khol 96 is a matte black; a standard liner material.
Camouflage 477 is an army green shimmer. Dior has a way of doing very chic khaki.
Choc Clair 564 is a satin cafe-au-lait. Utterly gorgeous.
Grege 726 a matte camel (sounds so very wrong).
Nude 506 is a matte ivory.
Velvet 783 is a complex high shimmervery dark taupe with gray-purple ancestors.
I think I need Velvet and Choc-Clair at least...
ReplyDeleteOO I didn't know about these! You said the magic word - taupe and Choc Clair looks very beautiful too. Can't wait to see them.
