Monegal's Mon Patchouly and I heard about it here!
ReplyDeleteToss up between Chanel Beige (from Cafe Makeup) and Anima Dulcis (your rec!). But I love via del profumo and have balsam. So rich and beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteLes Nez Manoumalia, which I am dying for a full bottle after reading about it on Bois de Jasmin and then sampling it.
ReplyDeleteI added Tawaf to my "get a sample" list after reading your recent review! I really like the two Profumo scents that I sampled - Mecca Balsam and Hindu Kush. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAmy Bella
I think the top of my perfume wishlist at the moment is probably Andy Tauer's Incense Rose. I first read about that on NST, lo these many years ago. :)
ReplyDeleteTopping my wishlist is Krigler's Lovely Patchouli. I learned about it from a fellow perfumista who said she was "addicted" to it; after testing, I knew why! Thanks for the drawing.
ReplyDeleteThe perfume currently topping my wishlist is Golden Cattleya by Olympic Orchids, and I heard about it (naturallly) via. fragrance blogs. The Perfume Posse, I think. Thanks for entering me!
ReplyDeleteBecause I seem to desire the unattainable, or perhaps have arrived in the perfume world too late, Attrape Coeur is at the top of my list. I have have a little sample vial and can't remember how I got it.
ReplyDeleteI'm craving both Amouage Lyric Woman and Memoir Woman. I find them both unforgettable and personal and my decants are running out. I'm also looking at Clair de Musc for an every day musk that's pretty but not vapid.
ReplyDeleteI think I head about Clair de Musc here and the others...around the web.
I think Aftelier Tango probably tops my list at the moment, and I most likely first read about it here. :)
ReplyDeleteCB I Hate Perfume's In the Library. I heard of it from a perfume forum, but I'm not sure which one at the moment!
ReplyDeleteTopping my wishlist is Miller Harris Geranium Bourbon, which I've known about forever but only recently *properly* sampled. It's just so invigorating and assertive. Of course you have to like the smell of the real flower.
ReplyDeletenoisome@MUA
Long wish list, but currently at the top is Vero Profumo's Mito. Can't remember on which blog I read about it first -- your review certainly contributed to the longing. I love your description of it as "green and streamlined, but also layered and full of life". This matches my impression of Vero herself in the interview I saw of her from Exscence.
ReplyDeleteHappy to be in Canada and therefore eligible. Don't blame you for not wanting to ship cross-border with the rule tightening that's going on everywhere (see Andy's Dec 7 advent post for his bad experience).
-- Lindaloo
At the top of my wishlist is Oud Luban from Aftelier. i heard about it through reading your top ten ouds.
ReplyDeleteSuch a long list...but if I had to pick one for my Christmas stocking (well, I'm traveling for Christmas so technically no stocking) I'd love Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. But if I could pick TWO, I think I'm ready for Shalimar or L'Heure Bleu which I had put off in favor of picking up some smaller, niche options.
ReplyDeleteAt the top of my wishlist is Skyebotanical's Strawberry Passion Green - I was not expecting to fall for a strawberry frag, but this one is stunning and different. And of course I heard about it here on the perfume blogosphere.
ReplyDeleteTop of my wishlist is Ramon Monegals Impossible Iris. I first heard about it on your blog and have since sampled via another perfumista. Tawaf sounds sublime, thank you.
ReplyDeleteDagney Betty
Funny enough, Tawaf is on the top of my wish list - I got a very small sample of it from Surrender to Chance. based on my love for jasmine sambac. I would love to have a chance to try a bigger blast. La Via del Profumo is one of my favourite houses and I pay them the highest compliment I can: I actually wear several of their perfumes on regular basis. I recently drained my second bottle of Holy Water. Thanks so much for this draw!
ReplyDeleteWould love to have Shiseido Inoui - but alas, I cannot find it. I read about it here! Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte Mitchell
I would love a bottle of Cartier Le Baiser du Dragon Eau de Parfum. I found it whilst trawling The Perfumed Court for something that features my favourite notes.
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of things on my wish list at the moment, but I think the top of my list at the moment is Cuir Venenum by Parfumerie Generale. I think I saw it mentioned on Now Smell This, and I got a sample from Luckyscent. I've been thinking about it ever since I used up my sample. I haven't tried any of the Via del Profumo line yet, but I've been wanting to.
ReplyDeleteI long to try Núvol di Llimona by Roca...oh, it haunts me. And the Perfumed Court just obtained it, so it is very likely that my dream could come true if I lay some strategic gift-hinting on my spouse.
ReplyDeleteTop of my list is Chergui, which I strongly suspect is already boxed up and waiting for me on Christmas. I've heard about it everywhere, but didn't realize what I was missing until Luckyscent sent me a sample vial.
ReplyDeleteAt the top of my insanely long wish list, is Guerlain Tonka Imperiale. But since I read several blogs faithfully (including TNB, of course) as well as belong to several perfume groups, who the heck can remember where I first heard of it?! LOL I don't think I have tried anything by Via del Profumo yet and would love to!
ReplyDeleteThe perfume at the top of my wish list to try is Memo Shams after reading your list of favorite oud perfumes! I really like Memo Manao and would love to try Shams. Thank you so much for this awesome draw! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI would like an Iris Gris by Jacques Fath. Have been looking for orris root, and studied it on Wikipedia. Have to find the word for Iris in Arabic to see if local place has it. I would also like an Oud, as I have read about Oud in your and another blog. But, I think of the musical instrument, like a lute, when I hear the word. Am a leather person, Calandre, Chanel 19 person.
ReplyDeleteI am really wanting Parfum d'Empire Musc Tonkin- at least a good size sample or decant if not a FB. I love several from this house and have a feeling this limited edition is very special. I also am wanting Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur, but in the oil form, which I understand is no longer being produced. If wishes were horses...**sigh**
ReplyDeleteThank you for the draw, this sounds lovely!
My top two on the wish list are Iris Gris (heard about that from the fragrance blogs) and Shiseido Inoui (heard about it here). What a lovely generous draw! Thanks Gaia :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, one of the perfumes I've been wanting is exactly Tawaf! My wife loves jasmine perfumes, and this seems like a must-try for us. Of course, there's many others we would like to try, from the very recent Jour d'Hermes to the grand old classics.
ReplyDeleteTopping my wishlist for attainable perfumes is SSS's Wood Violet, which I discovered via a sample in my last order. My no-constraints wishlist is topped by Musc Tonkin, which I've been reading about across all the fragrance blogs. I'd love to try Tawaf after your review: thanks for hosting the draw!
ReplyDeleteThe perfume on my "full bottle" wish list is Tonka Imperiale by Guerlain which I heard about everywhere and finally succumbed to this past summer. I've been reading about Tawef and have added it to my "must smell" list since it sounds like something I would love. Thank you for the draw!
ReplyDeleteOn top of my wishlist is a sentimental favorite, not a niche scent in any way..... Givenchy Pi. My bottle is nearly empty. A close, wonderful friend gave me the bottle a few years ago, and I've been wearing it frequently. Unfortunately, this friend died earlier this year.
ReplyDeleteMy niche scent is any one by Mona di Orio.
Happy Holidays!
Happy Haunnukah!
Merry Christmas!
Lawrence in Ohio
My perfume wishlist for the holiday is Viva La juicy. Its my fvt. And really wanna try this tawaf perfume.Hoping to like it too.
ReplyDeletexoxo
Hmmm, top of my wishlist is Ormonde Jayne Tolu, I think. Happy Holidays, and thanks for holding the draw!
ReplyDeleteJAR Fermez Tes Yeux, which I am not likely to own anytime soon..
ReplyDeleteTop of my wishlist is Miller Harris L'air de Rien which I first read about on Basenotes. I do have a sample of Donna Karan's WOMAN which I have been enjoying... I'm looking for a men's fragrance that I can wear myself though. Suggestions anyone? :-)
ReplyDeleteThe one that will be forever be on my FB wishlist is Xeroff's Irisss. So many blogs rave about it. Still looking for a split of this since it will be the only way this iris will ever be part of my wardrobe. Good luck everyone!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE heavy, indolic jasmines therefore -Serge Lutens Sarrasins. First heard about it from Luca Turin. ~ Larisa CA
ReplyDeleteThe perfume that is close to my heart and top of my list is always the discontinued Deneuve. But I have a definite lemming for the new Hermes Jour d'Hermes. It has been described as luminous, but it sounds like it has a fullness as well. In any event, it should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the draw. This one is hands down a beauty.
I've asked for both of Andy Tauer's Tableau perfumes. In the small bottle so I get them both! Thanks for the great draw.
ReplyDeleteActually, its one of his that is at the top of my list: Hindu Kush. It was part of a "Travels from India" sampler. I can't get it out of my mind. Thanks for the drawing!
ReplyDeleteOn my wish list is Organza Neroli. I head about it from The Non Blonde email some time back.
ReplyDeleteMy top two wants and needs this season are Aftelier's Wild Roses and Sepia, worn together! Your review of the former sums up everythingi would say if I could read scents the way you do, and Sepia is totally different and richly animistic, it's perfect counterpart. I am very curious about Il Profumo, have tried very few and totally randomly......
ReplyDeleteCB 7 Billion Hearts is topping my list at the moment and I heard about it on your blog and NST. Thank you for the draw and happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteAt the top of my current wish list is Orange Sanguine by Atelier Cologne. I received a sample during the summer and I'd like to add it to my rotation of warm weather scents.
ReplyDeleteSL Santal Majuscule tops my list. I read about it here and immediately went about tracking down a sample. Love at first sniff. Your review was dead on by the way...
ReplyDeleteTawaf is at the top of my list since reading Kevin's review on NST. I love jasmine, and I love several of Dominique Dubrana's other scents. I even considered ordering a bottle unsniffed, but alas, haven't done so yet. Would love to win a sample!
ReplyDeleteI have two; well, the two I was able to whittle it down to!
ReplyDeleteThe first is Mona di Orio's Carnation, which of course, I first read about here (!!), and then sampled and loved. Never imagine the line would be retired. I contacted her partner after her death, and he wrote back that they were planning on gradually re-releasing the earlier perfumes, and Carnation would likely reappear in 2013. My fingers are crossed it comes true!!
The second is vintage Mitsouko, which again, I read about here . Sublime, divine. Need to possess. (I'm greedy, and want the parfum, EDP and EDT too, because they are all different and wonderful). If anything could be described as such, this is my signature scent. -- Monika, Ca
I want Chanel Coco body cream. I've been wearing Coco since it came almost 30 years ago, and love experiencing the warm, rich variation of the body cream from time to time.

Ahh...many perfumes top my wish list, so I'll randomly choose Amouage Gold. I received a sample when I made another Amouage purchase. I hadn't really heard of Amouage until I encountered The Perfume Shoppe in Vancouver on vacation a few years back. Now I subscribe to many perfume blogs which is where I hear about most of the perfumes I'm interested in.
ReplyDeleteI'd really like to own Vero Profumo's Onda, I got a sample after reading about it here a few years ago and on some other blogs, probably NST. I'd also love to get some samples of B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful, they just sound fun and interesting. I read about them in Turin & Sanchez' book.
ReplyDeleteI moved to California not too long ago and stated to explore American Perfumers. I have this huge sample box from Sonoma Scent Studio and I adore their Incense Pure. On my list. 2nd Shiloh Hors la Monde. Third de Nicolai Vanille Intense. Today or tomorrow I'll head to Mandy Aftel's Open Studio. Heaven knows what will happen there....
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm lemming Mona Di Orio's Les Nombes d'Or Vanille. Read Patty's Vanilla Perfume post yesterday because it was so lengthy and I didn't have time when it came out.
ReplyDeleteI just read Lucy's latest post on indieperfumes and have decided that Traveling Perfume from Monica Miller at Skye Botanicals will be perfect for my upcoming trip to Iceland.
ReplyDeleteI really want to try the new Hermes, but at the top of my list are a couple of Tauer's Carillon pour un Ange and Rose Vermeille. Thanks for the draw--would love to sniff this one!
ReplyDeleteThe list is ENDLESS, but right now I'm obsessing about a non-niche for once: Donna Karan Essence Labdanum....I want!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
oops, and I cam to hear about Laudanum via a very generous swap goodie :)
ReplyDeleteBlack Orchid by Tom Ford tops my wishlist. I don't remember how I heard about it. It was awhile ago.
ReplyDeleteMy next quest is to purchase Memo Shams.I read about it on several blogs including yours Gaia! It sounds heavenly. Thanks for the draw!!
ReplyDeleteTop of the list is always hard to pin down, because those darn scents are always jockeying for position! At the moment, I think Rubj edp has a foot ahead.
ReplyDeleteAt the very top of the list is Gobin-Daude's Nuit au Desert, which sadly to say is unlikely to ever come my way, given its long discontinued state and rarity. Thankfully, though, my list is loooooong, and there are several other scents I'd love to have that are obtainable, like Trayee by Neela Vermeire.
ReplyDeleteThe top of my list is Arquiste Boutonniere!
ReplyDeleteChanel Beige would be the top of the list- today
ReplyDeletelovely giveaway :)
I'm wishing for a sniff of Monegal's Mon Patchouly or one of his leathers. I have read about them on a number of blogs. Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get s s s tabac aurea. I heard about it on here a while back and can't get it out of my mind after I sampled it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNoir de Noir by Tom Ford because I am smitten with Oud. Inspiration too for a trip to Abu Dhabi in February!
ReplyDeleteA La Nuit by Serge Lutens is my fav jasmine perfume at this time. Would love to try Tawaf!
ReplyDeleteIris Silver Mist- I heard about it on pretty much every perfume blog, and it is the only perfume that I knew, without a doubt, that I would love simply by reading about it. Thanks to this blog, I learned of the Posh Peasant and was able to order a sample. Now that it is available in the US, it is only a matter of time (and money)...
ReplyDeleteKMF
I've been jonesing for a while for Mandy Aftel's Cepes and Tuberose but I can't remember where I heard of it.
ReplyDeleteThe new Ormonde Jaynes . . . think I read about them on Now Smell This, then received an email from OJ. This is a very nice giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would love to at least try Caron's Nuit de Noel (vintage) and Nabucco Amytis. I've heard about both on various perfume blogs and would like to own at least a little sample of each. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try something by Diptyque, perhaps Volute? Or maybe Philsokos. The review you did of Volutes is rather captivating.
ReplyDeleteSadly, this one is unattainable: Tauer's Dark Passage. Wish I could have a full bottle. It is a beautiful blend of patchouli, iris and cocoa. It was a limited release earlier this year. Thanks for the review Gaia. -Ari
ReplyDeleteCaron's Parfum Sacre is at the top of my wishlist at the moment, and I heard about it first on Parfumieren.
ReplyDeleteOn my wishlist right now are Aftelier's Wild Roses and Houbigant Orangers en Fleurs. The first I read about on your blog and the other from Charlestongirl on Best Things in Beauty. They both sound so beautiful that I definitely want to try them.
ReplyDeleteI am a die-hard Coco fanatic - been my signature since I can remember
ReplyDeleteNaomi Goodsir Cuir Velours & Bois d'Ascese.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get a nice sample of original Tabac Blond as I got very curious after reading about it on Basenotes.
ReplyDeleteAt the top of my wish list is a Killean or Bond 9 probably. Heard about them at saks
ReplyDeleteI like perfumes that transport me to another place or time. So, I would love to try Tawaf, especially after reading your description and I like the bottle. Cuir de Russi is also at the top of my list to sample.
ReplyDeleteI want all the Andy Tauers!
ReplyDeleteTops on my wishlist is Amouage Gold Woman and I first heard about it and got to smell it when I visited Jacqueline Perfumery in San Francisco. I am saving up for it but am also hoping that I may find it under the Christmas tree this year!
ReplyDeleteAtop my wishlist are two very special chypres: Gala Loewe and Bleu de Chine. I'd love to try Tawaf.
ReplyDeleteKerosene Copper Skies is at the top of my wishlist. Everybody online was buzzing about this youtube review turned indie perfumerer.
ReplyDelete7 Billion Hearts has been on my mind lately, but maybe in part because I love the name. I heard about it here. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteChanel Beige! It intrigues me!

ReplyDeleteAmouage Epic!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure I read about it on a blog or two, but obviously it was sampling and smelling that made me fall in love with it.
Top of my list is Andy Tauer's Zeta. I was introduced to the scent during a business trip to London and luckily was able to slip in a quick visit to Les Senteurs.
ReplyDeleteCurrently, Sonoma Scent Studio has me intrigued. Reviews have made me lemming my way to it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the draw.
