The photo above of Angela Lansbury is actually completely and utterly wrong for Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Water-Max Sleeping Mask because the product in question is clear. This means that you will not scare little children or give your spouse nightmares when you wear it to bed. Dr. Jart is most famous for his BB cream (which I haven't tried. Sorry), but if you ask me the sleeping mask should be the star of this range. It's truly made of awesome.
The premise is simple: you do your nightly routine- cleanse, serumize, moisturize- and apply the mask on top before going to bed. The mask works while you're asleep to capture and trap moisture in your skin. Dr. Jart's mask creates a barrier that keeps whatever you put into your skin earlier as well as absorb water molecules from the air. The mask uses a hyaluronic acid macro-molecule that is supposed to 1000 times its weight in water. When I use the mask while a humidifier is on in my bedroom I can tell that it actively hydrates the skin. When I forget to turn the humidifier on the mask acts as a shield and keeps my face from drying.
It worked the same way last month when I applied it during long flights. The result is always a soft and supple skin. As I said above, Dr. Jart Water Fuse is completely invisible. It doesn't even make me look shiny, so one can be seen in public while the mask is on. It doesn't require any special removal process. All you have to do in the morning is gently wash your face with water (I used micellar water on the plane).
Bottom Line: a must-have.
Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Water-Max Sleeping Mask ($48) is available from Sephora.
I actually bought this recently because I liked the idea of a mask that I can sleep in because, well, slapping on a mask and waiting to wipe it off is just too time consuming sometimes. My skin always looks more refreshed in the morning after I've used it. I also use the water fuse BB cream which I like as well. It helps tone done the red when my skin is irritated. Great products!
