The formula of Sue Devitt Balanced Matte Lipstick is much nicer than other matte lipsticks I've tried. It's creamier and more comfortable, doesn't make my lips look and feel parched (I prep with a rich lip balm, though), and has a satin finish. I still prefer more moisturizing formulas, but for what it is, Sue Devitt's lipstick is a very good option.
Babylon is a very warm almost coral pink. I wear it under various glosses that add a red or a mauve tinge, but most skin tones can pull it off as is, since this is a really pretty color in a full coverage formula. This Sue Devitt lipstick has an excellent longevity and barely transfers to glasses and such.
Bottom Line: long-wearing and reliable.
Sue Devitt Balanced Matte Lipstick ($20) in Babylon and nine other colors is available from Barneys and other select department stores, as well as from suedevittbeauty.com. The product was sent to me free of charge for consideration and review.
Hi. I'm interested in purchasing the Babylon lipstick by Sue Devitt but I don't seem to be able to find where I can purchase this. Are you able to help me? Would really appreciate that.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, Sue Devitt went out of business in February 2013.
