Ah, yes. Saturday Night Fever came out the year before I started high school. We played their songs in marching band. Lots of memories associated with those songs. I remember Donna Summer, too, but her music was not as much a part of my life at that time.
I forgot how gorgeous Barry was! But Robin was always my favorite Bee Gee. I think it was his friendly face. I didn't know until today that he and Maurice were twins. I feel bad for Barry. No brothers left to sing with. So sad.
I thought Robin was on the recovery path... but sadly not. :(
'She works hard for the money' is playing in my head now. I don't need to think hard to remember the lyrics and tune. It's timeless and still relevant today. Goodbye, Donna - missing you already...
