Here's the first of the three pink re-promoted Le Metier de Beaute lipsticks: the lightly shimmery Cannes. I know some of you look suspiciously at the tube because it photographs a bit frosted, but I hope you can see from the swatches that it's just very fine micro-shimmer that reflects the light very subtly.
I love the formula of Le Metier's Colour Core lipsticks because it's wonderfully comfortable on my lips, without compromising longevity and finish. Cannes is a light rose, so the stain it leaves behind isn't comparable to my staple reds from this line (Madaket, China Beach, Palm Beach), but it survives a drink and leaves my lips happy.
Le Metier de Beaute Colour Core Lipsticks ($32) are available from Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Those living overseas can now find them online at zuneta.com, which ships all over the world. The products was sent for my consideration by the company.
It looks very pretty. I rather like the look of Dubai from your swatches too. I can't believe that I'm still yet to try a Le Metier lipstick!
ReplyDeleteI also think I need to take a closer look at Dubai, and even though Paris looks a little scary, it's one of those fuchsia colors that always looks good on me.
ReplyDeleteMB, you're not the only one! I have only ever tried LMdB gloss and eyeshadow. Oh, and their cream blush.
I have tried Cannes and it's such a gorgeous color when one needs a pick me up. I'm shopping down town SF this weekend, I must purchase this, it's a seriously fun color on!
