I Read It On The Internet- April 22nd Edition
My world is full of pretties lately, and I'm not just talking about our ten year old wisteria that finally, after all these years, erupted into full bloom. The scent is heavenly, and the lilacs will be joining the fun in a couple of weeks.
Fans of YSL Pure Chromatic eye shadow palettes will be glad to see swatches of No. 8, Sand, on Best Things In Beauty. I adore the wet/dry formula) and thrilled to see that the new palettes are well-coordinated. I have my sights on No. 9, as well as on the waterproof blue eyeliner (these YSL eyeliners are amazing). You can see the full collection on Chic Profile.
Now I know why I held off buying any of the bronzers, face palettes and bronzers for the season: Burberry Sheer Summer Glow Palette (as seen on British Beauty Blogger).
Cafe Makeup has the best photos and swatches of NARS Ramatuelle eye shadow trio. You can see how it looks on Liz who is a stunning blond. My swatches and impression for the olive-skinned among us are coming this week.
Sabrina from The Beauty Look Book made me rethink my summer nail strategy with her swatches of Chanel Summer 2012 lacquers.
Karen gives us a sneak peek of Givenchy Été à Fleur de Peau Collection for Summer 2012 on Makeup & Beauty Blog. My heart, though, belongs to Tabs.
Bloomin' Beauty has photos and swatches of Clarins Summer 2012. Lovers of bronze and purple will rejoice.
Dain has some colors I never dare to wear on Ars Aromatica. Everything looks perfect on her. Always.
In what may be the most important beauty discovery this week, Kate shows us that a cheap TopShop eye crayon is completely identical to the pricey one from ByTerry. See photos and all the details on Drivel About Frivol.
My dear cousin, Queen Elizabeth II, who just celebrated her birthday, has something else in common with me, other than a house full of pets: she's a fan of Leonard Cohen.
Have a happy week and shop responsibly!
Fan of Cohen? Why not! But cousin? Afraid not.
