Mirabella Moi Lipstick
I mentioned last week that it was only recently that I was introduced to Mirabella makeup. I'm already hooked on this little charmer, the creamy and rich lipstick in Moi.
The word 'Moi' makes one instantly think of one of the greatest beauty icons of all time, Miss Piggy ("Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it may become necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye"). It's just one more reason this Mirabella lipstick makes me smile. That, and the pretty pink-based red that walks the thin line between bright and glamorous.
The formula is great: soft, comfortable to wear, never drying. The level of pigment is intense and gives a high but not completely full coverage. This makes the Mirabella lipstick work well with one's natural lip color. The lipsticks stays put and doesn't bleed, has an average lasting abilities ( leaves a stain after a cup of tea, goes away after lunch). Applying in a thin even layer with a brush makes it look
Bottom Line: a good cure for the Mondays.
Mirabella Lipstick ($22) in Moi and 17 other shades can be found on mirabellabeauty.com. I received mine as a PR item for consideration.
Gaia,
ReplyDeleteDo you have any experience or opinion regarding the other products in this line?
Like you, the second I hear the word "moi", I still think of Miss Piggy (and I live in a French city). This shade looks gorgeous. Do you happen to know if they test on animals? I couldn't find any information on the site.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous and very cheerful color, I love reds and must give this a try. Very festive color just in time for the holidays too. :) Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteTo your readers, from John Maly, owner of Mirabella Beauty.
ReplyDeleteWe don't test on animals, just make up artists! But they are really pretty good about it. In fact, they do it willingly!
I am particularly fond of that quote from Miss Piggy. She's one stylish tough pig! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous! I'll have to try this lipstick for myself. And love the Miss Piggy references :)
