Le Metier de Beaute Creme Fresh Tints in Poppy and Tenne have been my signature blushes for a while now. Earlier this year, Le Metier released three more colors as Nordstrom exclusives. I bought Ginger Lily online right after I saw the swatches on Best Things In Beauty (my Nordtrom didn't have them). These shades are now available at every Le Metier de Beaute counter and online from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus. I will show Mystique and Coral Nymph another time, as I was recently sent them, but today we focus on Ginger Lily since I've been wearing it a lot.
The Creme Fresh Tint blushes have a wonderful wearable quality, no matter how intimidating they might look in the pan. The pigments are a mix of warm and cool that works beautifully with most skin tones to look like a natural flush and not like paint. The texture is an almost sheer cream that blends beautifully no matter what you use: fingers, a flat top brush (I love Julie Hewett's Cheeky brush) or a small natural round one (Hakuhodo 210).
I see Ginger Lily as Poppy's less exuberant sibling. It's a little more muted and looks more neutral on my skin, so I wear it when I'd rather give my eyes or lips the center stage.
Bottom Line: another winner.
Le Metier de Beaute Ginger Lily Creme Fresh Tint ($28) is available from Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, online and in store.
Love this color. I wonder if it will be too light for my skintone?
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't wait to go to the counter and try these. Like Productdoctor, I'm wondering if this will show up on me!
ReplyDeleteOh I was wondering what your thoughts would be on this one. *sigh* There goes $28+.
