There's a reason why it's called The Lipstick. Sensai by Kanebo offers one of the best lipstick formulas around: it's chock full of skincare-grade ingredients, feels like a luxurious treatment and has a million dollar- looking finish, without being overly shiny. Kanebo Sensai colors are always outstandingly pretty, and that's also the case with their new The Lipstick shades for fall 2011.
I received three of the new Kanebo Sensai colors: 16 (Rindou. A very soft apricot-like orange), 17 (Aya. A beige-leaning mauve) and 19 (Sawarabi. A perfect red wine). The latter is obviously my absolute favorite, but I find even Rindou 16 to be wearable because the rich color isn't fully opaque, thus allowing for my natural color to come through. The other shades are as easy to wear as they're pretty, and I can't get enough of No. 19.
Bottom Line: a true luxury.

Kanebo Sensai The Lipstick ($55 each) is exclusive to Bergdorf Goodman and can also be purchased online from Neiman Marcus website. Press samples were sent to me by the company's PR.
Hi! I was wondering if you could post some more pictures of the Kanebo sensai lipstick in the colour Aya. I would like to see how it looks like on the lips, if it is comes out as dark or light. :)
