In the time since I've first fell in love with Bobbi Brown Long Wear cream eye shadows, one of these colors, Ash, seems to have been discontinued. It's too bad, since I use this creamy little things all the time, on their own or as a base for powder eye shadows. Malted, a warm beige, and Ash, a dusty deep brown, are completely shimmer-less, which makes them wonderful under shimmery and glowing eye shadows. These Bobbi Brown Long Wear cream eye shadows are the perfect companions for Dior eye shadows (singles and quints) as they ground them and give them extra depth and dimension.
Bottom Line: can I have some more?
Bobbi Brown Long Wear cream eye shadows ($22) are available at the counters, Sephora and from bobbibrowncosmetics.com.
I had no idea Ash had been discontinued. What a shame, it's one I wear often, though I might like Slate just a teeny bit more, and I think that one is still on her web site.
ReplyDeleteMalted is a funny one. It looked so gorgeous in the pot but made me look awful. I do better with Cement, which is my no-makeup cream eyeshadow. Love it, but I prefer the cream to the powder, as the cream has a hint more grey in it.
I do enjoy these little buggers.
A few years back I had the Malted cream shadow. I wore it almost every day, I really loved it. The slight pink hints made it so pretty. After I used it, I forgot to replace it! You've reminded me I that I should restock =)
