This was an easy and obvious purchase. Since I love my Sephora Professionnel Platinum Airbrush #55 I was thrilled to also have a smaller version that fits better in small spaces and do a more precise work when I'm only looking to cover small areas. The #56 is part of Sephora's Airbrush line (also includes a very decent concealer brush), all synthetic and dense. These products work best with thin formulas and the secret to using them is pressing the product onto the face with the brush (it's very soft, so no issues there) and then buff.
I use many foundation brushes and generally prefer those made of natural hair for foundation (and just about anything else, really), but these Sephora Professionnel Platinum Foundation Airbrush are heavily in my rotation, and since the size of no. 56 is so convenient I've been reaching for it more and more. The combination of size, no-floppiness and great finish with my favorite foundation makes it an essential.
Bottom Line: I need a backup.
