L'Occitane Pivoine Flora Lip Shine in Brun has been going with me just about everywhere lately. Despite the name "brun" (=brown), which usually scares me away, this L'Occitane lipgloss is a toffee-rose shade, pigmented just enough to add intensity to natural lip color but not completely change it. I use Pivoine Flora Lip Shine as a neutral because nad doesn't compete with anything else I have going on.
The texture of L'Occitane Lip Shine is light and very moisturizing. It's shiny but not shimmery, not sticky (well, for a gloss) and withing 5 minutes from application my lips feel pampered, soft and healthy. I'm not too crazy about the fruity-floral scent, but love the gloss enough to forget all about it quickly.
Bottom Line: I'm going to pick a couple of more colors to live in my purses.
L'Occitane Pivoine Flora Lip Shine ($14) can be found at L'Occitane stores and online. The product was sent to me by the company free of charge.

L'occitane are making cosmetics?! How did that one pass me by!
ReplyDeleteExcited to try this - thanks for the review! x
I saw them in L'Occitane the other day and decided I don't want to even come close, as lip glosses sort of reproduce when I'm not watching. :)
ReplyDeleteNow, I'll have to go and see if a particular color is calling to me (and to check out the sale that just started...).
