Now, this is exciting.
Kate Spade is partnering with Poppy King of Lipstick Queen fame to create a limited edition capsule collection of four lipsticks. The mini-line will be called Supercalifragilipstick and offer an even coverage and long-wearing color with a sheer, moisturizing feel, as the formula is a lipstick-lip gloss hybrid, priced at $24 each.
The colors are: Pop Art Pink, a light pink; Bashful Blush, a sheer nude; Fuchsia Fete, a sheer fuchsia, and Adventurous Red, a sheer red. They will be released this fall.
The lipsticks will be accompanied by a whimsical collection of very Kate Spade items: makeup cases printed with the various shades of lipstick ($60 to $145), compacts($28), a lipstick-themed scarf ($155) and a lipstick journal ($65). I'm curious to see the compacts. The collection will be sold at Kate Spade New York’s 50 doors globally (37 are U.S. doors) and online at katespade.com.
What say you? Will you buy?

I want Bashful Blush. But I'll need to try it first so we'll see if one of those 37 U.S. doors is anywhere around.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I wouldn't be impressed if Poppy weren't a partner, but I love her lipsticks and may have to take a look at these. The colors are a great basis for a line, if Kate decides to expand it.
ReplyDeleteI love these! Adventurous Red would be my pick for sure. And I can't wait to see the other products. I'm a big fan of nearly everything Kate creates.
ReplyDeleteI want them all!
