Elizabeth Taylor quotes:
"If someone's dumb enough to offer me a million dollars to make a picture, I'm certainly not dumb enough to turn it down."
"The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues."
"Success is a great deodorant"
"I feel very adventurous. There are so many doors to be opened, and I'm not afraid to look behind them."
I miss her already.
RIP Liz
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I`m not a celeb watcher, but I always hoped things would turn around for the better for Taylor, and stay that way. Peace!!
ReplyDeleteShe was very pretty, but not much of an actress. Still, I will miss her too.
ReplyDeleteReal beauty inside and outside. RIP.
ReplyDeleteI disagree! She was very underrated as an actress. she more than held her own against both Katharine Hepburn in "Suddenly, Last Summer" for instance.
ReplyDeleteA truly beautiful woman. Nice post lady xx
ReplyDeleteGaia, I'm with you...I miss her already as well. Nothing more beautiful than Maggie in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".
ReplyDeleteAh, great quotes! Sad news. She will be missed.
ReplyDeleteI actually appreciate her more as an actress than for her looks (which leave me somewhat cold). RIP
ReplyDeleteWhat a classy lady. As Musing on Beauty said, 'real beauty inside and out'.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing yourself with the world, Elizabeth. You are missed already!
xo
I'd forgotten how stunning her eyebrows were. Eyebrows!
ReplyDeleteAnother legend gone. It's so sad to see Old Hollywood disappearing. Her tumultuous personal life tended to overshadow her talent - she was impressive in "Raintree County" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" I admire her for her support of AIDS research, and compassion for people with AIDS, long before it became fashionable.
ReplyDeletesuch an incredible woman.....a life well and truly lived, that's for sure....amazing beauty, can i have eyebrows like that??
