Jungle (no. 6) from Sisley Phyto-Ombre Eclat Eye Shadow might be my favorite olive/khaki eye shadow. There's something about the gold undertones and depth of this color that looks very flattering and brings out some subtleties I didn't even know existed in my plain brown eyes. It looks more green in the pan than on my skin, but that's not a bad thing when it comes to the color's versatility.
The formula of Sisley eye shadows is incredible- rich, smooth, very pigmented and works with every brush I ever used. The melty texture is also wonderfully long-lasting. I user it over Kanebo Sensai eye base and it stays there, shiny and new from morning to night in every weather. I wear Jungle in combination with other Sisley shadows or with Edward Bess neutral colors- it makes a beautiful liner when paired with Edward's Nude and Dusk. It's a million dollar look, mellow but with an eye catching twist.
Bottom Line: Gorgeous.
Sisley Phyto-Ombre Eclat Eye Shadows ($46) are available at top department stores as well as online.

pretty, but any hint of green near my brown eyes and they all of a sudden look bloodshot and smaller. a shame, because i like green.

That's a gorgeous color! Just the right amount of green with gold undertones makes my eyes look hazel. I've never tried Sisley's eye shadows (been too busy playing with Le Metier de Beaute of late), I'll have to give this a try.
ReplyDeletethere are so few people who write about Sisley products. I feel like they are not appreciated as much as they deserve. So thanks for your Sisley swatches!
