I love the photo. Feel better soon. x
ReplyDeleteI think this is my first comment on your blog, although I have been enjoying it for some time.
ReplyDeleteI guess there is no better time than now to comment and wish you good health. Get well soon!
Vetiver IS strong.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Rockin out to this song. I like it. - Jade
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, we're the house of viral load at the moment. Not in the least bit glamorous. I hope you feel better soon x
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh when I saw your picture of "Camille". I thought, "Ah, poor Gaia. She must really be feeling crummy." I'm glad to see your humor is still working even if your lungs and sinuses aren't. I won't tell you to eat chicken soup--your mom can do that :-) --but I will say get plenty of rest, drink plenty of liquids, and take extra good care of yourself while this virus runs its course. Be well soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, everyone- those who commented and those who emailed their well wishes. It's very very much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteEileen, when I was a kid my mom often referred to drama queens with constant health issues as "doing a Camille". I had a feeling you'll be among a handful of people who would get the photo immediately ;) .
Hope you're feeling better soon! Now's the perfect time to cuddle with the kitties & catch up on reading.
ReplyDeleteI've started reading the Dean Koontz Frankenstein series, it should give me a good few weeks of non-stop reading. I'm also reading Julia Child, My Life in France. My appetite has gotten better. Much. Better. All I can think about is butter.....
Frequently worn item: Currently, anything cashmere in black, it's been freezing, and I heard it might snow in the Bay area. It's been years since I've seen snow!
Makeup: This weekend is NM Beauty week, I'm headed out to try some goodies. I know I'll purchase fragrance, probably L' Artisan Safran Troublant.
Bane of my existence? Allergies, my eyes are day-glo red. No breathing problems yet so that's good.
